Faith-Inspired Calm Births Teacher Training
This training is designed for people who feel called to teach Calm Births with an added element of faith. You may be a birth worker or simply a person with a passion for supporting families - we welcome everyone and will tailor the course to your needs. You will receive the full Calm Births instructor training with Hannah (founder of Calm Births), with the beautiful addition of guidance from Helena — a faith leader and experienced Calm Births teacher — who will support you in thoughtfully weaving faith, prayer, and connection to God into your teaching. This gives you the flexibility to offer the course in its original format or with a gentle, faith-based approach for parents who would value it.
How the Training Works
The training will be held live via Zoom over two days, with plenty of time for discussion, reflection, and questions.
Training Dates: Saturday & Sunday, May 16th & 17th
Time: 9.30am – approximately 5pm each day
If you are not a birthworker already, you will be offered an additional pre-course module to complete in your own time. This is to give you more information and confidence in talking to families about birth (you are never expected to give any clinical advice).
Case Study & Qualification
Following the training, you will teach one full course to clients of your choice at no cost, as your case study.
Once we receive feedback from both you and your clients, you’ll be fully qualified and ready to begin teaching.
We will continue to support you as much or as little as you need when you begin working with clients. Helena can share personally how this support helped her get established.
Support remains ongoing for the entire time you teach with Calm Births.
Ongoing License Contribution
Six months after qualifying, we ask teachers to contribute £12.50 per month for continued use of the Calm Births license, content and branding.
Teaching Materials Included
Once your booking is confirmed, we will post your complete set of course materials including: the training manual, the full course syllabus, a copy of the Calm Births book and a pack of affirmation cards. This gives you everything you need to train, and to teach your first course with confidence.

Doulas / Midwives: The total investment for the Faith-Inspired Calm Births Teacher Training is £900. If you’d prefer to spread the cost, we offer a simple instalment plan of 4 monthly payments of £225. Your first payment secures your place, and the remaining payments are collected automatically each month — no forms, no reminders, no stress. Please note that all payments must be complete ahead of the training date. Simply choose your preference below.

If you’d prefer to spread the cost, we offer a simple instalment plan of 4 monthly payments of £338.
